About Embiveni

Embiveni is a public company, registered and located in Eswatini. Most of our shares are still held by members of management who purchased them during a Management Buyout in 1999. This has shaped the Company’s culture which can be described as hard working and entrepreneurial with a strong loyalty to our customers and suppliers.

Embiveni’s main markets are in Eswatini and southern Mozambique where our flagship Simunye Beef, Simunye Pork and Embiveni Meats brands are sought after by the majority of meat consumers.

Outside of Africa the Embiveni beef plant (SG-1) is registered to export beef into the European Free Trade Area (EFTA), the European Union (EU) and Taiwan. Currently all of our beef exports are going to customers in Norway. Previously, however, we have supplied customers in the United Kingdom, the Island of La Réunion, Mayotte and Switzerland.

The beef we export is all born and raised naturally in Eswatini. Cattle farming here is traditionally important and close to the hearts of all EmaSwati.
